In today's world of rapidly advancing science, I am keen to engage the public of all ages with astronomy and advancements in the field. I have presented to school groups, been part of shows to demonstrate physics phenomena, undertaken planetarium shows and given lectures on astronomy to a public audience.

Outreach Activities

Our Universe Revealed

I am the organiser of the Department of Physics public talk series Our Universe Revealed. This talk series aims to engage the public with the physics of the world around them, big picture questions and cutting edge research.

Campus Observatory

I am an active member of the observatory on campus at the University of Notre Dame and am taking a lead on the commissioning of the 0.8m Krizmanich Telescope.

Royal Astronomical Society Guest Lecturer

I lecture on board Cunard's ocean liner Queen Mary 2 on behalf of the Royal Astronomical Society.
