Graphic Design I: course explored the origins, concepts, and processes affecting traditional and contemporary graphic design, as well as introduced and implemented computer and print technology

Product Design I: course dealt with the foundation of three-dimensional design; worked through the design process, moving from ideas in the mind to sketches on paper to mock-up models

Visual Dialogue: course improved rapid sketching, as well as hand and computer rendering techniques

2-D Foundations: course dealt with fundamentals of two-dimensional design and principles of design, employing color theory, form, and space organization, as well as materials and processes used in the design process

Drawing I: course improved drawing skills especially with different medias, including, pencil, charcoal and pastel.

3-D Foundations: course explored three-dimensional art by producing sculptures in a variety of medias, including metal, wood, and plaster
