The first paper will be due in conferences on Friday, January 21. In your paper, you should answer the following question:
"Is Anselm's argument valid? Is it sound?"
Clarification in response to questions: By `Anselm's argument', I mean Anselm's argument for the existence of God. Part of this argument is his argument that the position of the Fool implies a contradiction.
The paper should be a maximum of 300 words in length, which is about one side of one page with normal font, spacing, and margins.
The paper will be worth 10% of your grade, and will be graded from 1-10. For each day that the paper is late, 0.5 points will be deducted from your grade.
