Although you can, of course, write your final papers on any topic connected with the course, I thought that it might be helpful to suggest some ideas for papers. Papers are due on or near the date of the last meeting of the seminar.
1. What is the transparency of experience? What is the best explanation of it?
2. Does Russellianism or Fregeanism give a better view of the contents of perception?
3 .What criteria distinguish between those properties which can be represented in perception and those which cannot?
4. How should a disjunctivist handle cases of partly illusory, partly veridical experiences?
5. Is minimal intentionalism true?
6. Perceptual experiences represent the world as being a certain way. Do bodily sensations, like pains?
