Mario Aquino Alves (PhD, Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil) is an associate professor of organization theory and civil society at Fundação Getulio Vargas, São Paulo, Brazil. His research focuses on civil society, corporate social responsibility, and social movements in Brazil. He was a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and is currently a visiting professor at HEC Montréal.
