Course Goals

The goal of the course is to learn how to solve physics problems. Solving physics problems is an introduction to solving a broad class of problems that come up in science, engineering and other technical subjects. We will learn a few physical laws on which the problems will be based. The primary physics content of this course is an introduction to mechanics, the physics of motion. And, of course, we will try to have some fun along the way.
