Not however the divine decrees (Chapp. LVI, n. 4: LIX ad fin). A better argument perhaps is this, that if they thought that the vision was to last for ever, whereas it was not, there would be a delusion built into their happiness: they would be living in a fool's paradise, which is contrary to the idea of a perfect state.
