Look at figure 1.16 on page 17. A series of pictures is drawn which shows a deformation from a two-rung Mobius ladder to another two-rung Mobius ladder which purports to be the mirror image of the first. It isn't the correct picture.

• 1) Draw the mirror image of the first figure in 1.16.
• 2) Describe a deformation (in pictures or in words) from your picture of the mirror image to the last picture in 1.16.
