Grading
system: There will be 3 - 100 point tests, and 1 - 150 point final exam.
There will be 7 or 8 - 10 point quizzes (to be given during the lab period). The 5 highest quiz scores will be kept, for a total of 50 possible points from quizzes. Homework will be graded (2 pts. per problem). Homework will be worth 50 pts. of the final grade, so your total will be scaled down accordingly.
Total: 550 points.
Attendance: You are expected to attend every class, including labs. Quizzes will be given in lab. A missed quiz cannot be made up, and a zero score because of an unexcused absence will not be dropped.
A test missed because of an unexcused absence cannot be made up.
Homework: All homework assigned should be turned in to Kelly in the next class period. Homoework more than one week late will not be accepted.
This course is being conducted under the Honor Code. All students in this course must follow this Code.
