For this week, you are to consider the following questions as we explore issues related to employment:
How have you prepared for the hiring process?
What resources have been helpful (or useless) in preparing you and guiding you through this process?
How has Notre Dame as a whole and the department in particular helped (or not helped) you in this process?
What aspects of the hiring process could be improved from your point of view?
What advice would you give a younger version of yourself about the hiring process?
Note, you should not simply list the questions and answer each one directly. Instead, the questions are there to help you brainstorm about the question:
What is your overall impression of the hiring process in your chosen industry? Is it efficient? Is it effective? Is it ethical?
Your writing reflection should ultimately answer this question.
