Notre Dame Home Page General Information

Alumni or students in any of the colleges at Notre Dame seeking prelaw advising should contact the principal advisor located in the College of Arts and Letters. Ava Preacher currently serves in this capacity and may be reached at apreache@nd.edu.

A resource library in 104 O'Shaughnessy makes available for student use current law school bulletins, LSAT applications and LSAT preparation materials, The Official Guide to U.S. Law Schools, and other law career planning and resource materials.

Currently enrolled students interested in a law career should join the Prelaw Society, whether they are simply considering law school or have already begun the application process. The Society arranges lectures, panel discussions, workshops on personal statements and financial aid issues, conducts a mock LSAT and various other events to inform students about issues pertaining to all aspects of consideration of and application to Law School. Members receive emails announcing events and information.
