Hello, my name is Peter Bui and I am an assistant teaching professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to teaching Computer Science courses such as Data Structures, Basic Unix for Engineers, and Ethics and Professional Issues, I also teach the core Elements of Computing programming sequence in the Computing & Digital Technologies minor. Outside the classroom, I enjoy hacking on research projects related to systems programming, operating systems, parallel computing, cloud computing, distributed computing, programming languages, compilers, and web services, and I would welcome the opportunity to work with undergraduate students on such projects.
