JW Chen's Dinner, Sweet Moon Bubble Tea and Sports Night

Dinner at JW Chen's Friday, October 2nd, 2009 turned out to be a huge success, with about 15 people eating and 30 dishes to choose from. Before dinner, we performed "icebreakers" where everyone introduced themselves and said something special about them. We then went to "Sweet Moon Bubble Tea" on Grape Road to pick up some tasty bubble tea, hang out, and play Tekken. Finally, we returned to ND's Rolfs Center for a CCS sports night, where we played basketball and ping pong, many of us staying until closing time!

Congratulations yet again to our new officers!

Yitong Zheng will be president, Jerry Shields the hui shuo zhong wen de bai ren will be vice-president, Timothy Kao will be treasurer, and Michelle Hackner will be secretary.

Elections for 2008-2009 Year

Congratulations to CCS's new officers for the 2008-2009 year!

Michelle Hackner and Christina Mengyun Zhu will be Co-Hui Zhangs. Jerel Ho will be Vice President, and Seehyun Park will be Treasurer.

Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association

The ITASA conference was tons of fun! The workshops we attended taught us about the possible origins of the Holo language, Taiwan's international political relationships, and we had the opportunity to meet Wong Fu Productions! The banquet was quite enjoyable where we got to witness many of Northwestern's talented Asian dancers and musicians. The after party was fun too !!!

The Asian Film Festival

Was a tremendus success! Thanks to all who helped publicize the event and attended the movies.
