A "Primo Colloquio" (First Colloquium), featuring sixteen leading scholars from the humanities faculties of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
The goal of the meeting was to begin to establish research relations between faculty and students in the humanities at Notre Dame and the University of Rome, as well as in anticipation of Notre Dame's establishment of a humanities center in Rome.
