EducationB.Tech. EE. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, 2004. Research SummaryDespite the increasing focus on the analysis and design of ad hoc and sensor networks in recent years, the effect of interference in such systems has been poorly studied. During my first two years at Notre Dame, I primarily worked on the problem of modeling interference in ad hoc networks with randomly distributed nodes and further analyzed metrics such as the network throughput and outage performances. Of late, I have been exploring into a topic in statistical mechanics known as the Totally Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process (TASEP), which deals with the dynamics of self-driven systems with interacting particles. I am currently investigating possible analogies between TASEP and packet transport in wireless line networks. Current PositionSenior Systems Design Engineer, LSI Corporation |
