Weight: 80.0 g (5.18 grams) Diameter: 25.2 mm

Comments: On the obverse the bottom of the figure on the harp bows at the O in FLOREAT. The head of the harp is aligned between the R and the E. On David's crown the first spike points to before the R and the others point at the R in REX. There is rim damage at 6:00-7:00 o'clock more noticeable on the obverse. On the reverse Patrick's outstretched hand points to the bottom horizontal bar of the E. The reverse legend is spread out on this example. Patrick's staff points to between the letters L and E in PLEBS. On the church steeple the horizontal bar of the cross touchs the end of the bow of the B. What appears to be a period after the S in PLEBS is actually the worn small cross on the far end of the church.

Provenance: From the Robert H. Gore, Jr. Numismatic Collection. This is one a group of St Patrick copper Mr. Gore obtained from William Anton, Jr., President of Woodcliff Investment Corporation on August 9, 1967. According to Anton's letter the coins were duplicates from the F.C.C. Boyd collection.

Weight: 90.4 g (5.86 grams) Diameter: 25.7 mm

Comments: On the obverse the bottom of the figure on the harp bows at the O in FLOREAT. The head of the harp is aligned with the E. It also appear that the right side of the harp frame has a more pronounced outline border. On David's crown the first two spikes point to the R and the others point at the space between the R and E in REX. There is a planchet void at the right side of the crown. On the reverse the snake is to the right of the Q. The two small crosses atop Patrick's miter are under the vertical stroke of the T. Patrick's staff points to the vertical stroke of the E in PLEBS. On the church steeple the horizontal bar of the cross points between the B and the S.

Comments: The center of each side is well worn. On the obverse the bottom of the figure on the harp bows at the O in FLOREAT. The head of the harp is aligned with the E. On David's crown the first spike points to before the R and the others point at the R in REX. On the reverse Patrick's staff points to the bottom horizontal stroke of the E in PLEBS. There is a small die break extending from the ball at the top of the cross to the bottom of the E. On the church steeple the horizontal bar of the cross points to just below the letter S.

Comments: On the obverse the bottom of the figure on the harp bows at the O in FLOREAT. The head of the harp is aligned with the E. On David's crown the spikes points to the R in REX. The reverse is in poor condition. The head of the snake is slightly under the Q. The crosses on Patrick's miter are close to the T. Patrick's staff points to the serif on the right end of the bottom horizontal stroke of the E in PLEBS.
