The Notre Dame Women’s Ice Hockey team is a competitive club on campus that embraces a fun and challenges. The key goals for all members are team building, leadership and skills training. Combining a relaxed atmosphere with a competitive spirit, the team travels all over the Midwest, from Chicago to St. Louis, and hosts several games at home. Teamwork and good sportsmanship have been an essential part of previous seasons. Good leadership skills are acquired by providing girls from each class an opportunity to serve as team officers. Women's Ice Hockey welcomes competition from all over the Midwest and are dedicated to the sport despite a minimal outside time commitment. The team continually looks for fresh and new talent to bring a different style onto the ice and welcomes the opportunity to talk with anyone interested.
The University of Notre Dame Women's Club Ice Hockey Team is excited to compete in Notre Dame's brand new Compton Family Ice Arena. A link to the venue can be found here.
