Fall Career Fair Marketing Meet-N-Greet

A casual event to help club members and other marketing majors prepare for
Fall Career Fair and network with key recruiters who will be working at

Two Notre Dame Graduates, Kaylea Hoelscher is an Account Executive
at
Leo Burnett and currently manages the adult cereal business for Kellogg;
Todd Woodward is currently the Associate Vice President in the
Office of Public Affairs and Communications for Notre Dame and has
over twenty years experience in the marketing industry – including
working on the “Got Milk?” campaign.
This forum is meant to provide students with practical knowledge
about how to get started in the advertising industry, what it takes to
make it big, and what it’s like to work in the industry. The forum will
offer students the opportunity to ask questions, as well as plenty of
occasions for networking.
This new event allowed students and faculty to make some people's February a very special one while helping the relief effort in Haiti. For $2, a Valentine gram could be bought from campus wide locations and all the proceeds went to aid recovery in Haiti.
Over $250 dollars was raised between the 8th and 12th and the money will definitely make a difference to those in need. Thanks to all who contributed and bought Valentine grams.
This forum is designed to give students an in-depth overview of working in multiple areas within sports, specifically sports marketing.

Big name websites you use every day have changed the face of marketing and discovered a whole new world of marketing opportunities!
This event highlighted both sides of media markets: the companies using the media and the agencies selling them.
CAF's annual Career Day program allowed students to learn about the advertising industry and network with top advertising professionals.
Students listened to 4-5 General Session speakers, participated in 2-3 panel discussions on a variety of topics relevant to advertising today, networked with industry professionals at lunch, and had the opportunity to take a tour of an actual agency in the afternoon.
Marketing Club members spent an evening full of fun cheering on South Bend's very own minor league baseball team. The SilverHawk's beat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for their first home win!
Second Annual Marketing Club Golf Scramble & Picnic

Nine teams of marketing students and professors competed in a 9-hole scramble while enjoying a sunny Saturday afternoon. It was followed by a picnic and awards ceremony where the best golfers and best dressed received great prizes.

Representatives form P&G, Abercrombie & Fitch, AT&T, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Whirlpool, Nestlé, and Metavante gave brief presentations, and afterwards, members had the opportunity network with employers in a casual environment.

We ran and managed our own concession stand before the Stanford game to raise funds for events.
