The latest roster listed 198 members. Due to the very large number of Directory changes, I've only included changes for the letters A-K. The rest will appear in the next issue of the Bulletin.

CAREER UPDATES
Catherine Candee has recently taken a new position as the Head Librarian
at the Physics Library at Stanford University.
Joyce Watson
This is to let you know that I am retiring at the end of the year. (Do I hear an echo, "and about time ...."?) Well, I think it is about time, too - to retire, I mean, but not, I hope, to lose touch with this wonderful group of people in PAM. I shall have been at SAO 27 years on December 1, and I joined SLA in 1964, in good time to join the Founding Mothers and Fathers of PAM. Then, when most people begin to think about retirement, SIMBAD and I found each other, and I started a gradual migration from being a finder of information to being a provider of information. And that is where I have happily spent the last few years.
I have many happy memories, and some not so happy - which is probably what all of us could say. Everything is changing so rapidly these days, I have real regrets in leaving. All I can do is to wish all of the members of PAM the very best of good luck and fulfillment in finding your niche in the constantly evolving electronic world of the present and the future. Remember, we were, and are, at the forefront of the Electronic Revolution (Evolution?) by virtue of our subject area. I think we have a very important role to fill in helping those who follow us to adapt to the world of electronic information, where it is not easy to see what changes librarian-type folks must make in order to fit in.
Cheers, and Best Wishes to you All,
Joyce
