Warning: You need to complete homework and exams on time. There are no "do-overs" or extra credit.

Missed exams: Note that there will be three Midterm Exams and a Final Exam. Students who miss an examination will receive zero points for that exam unless they have written permission from their Dean. Please be aware that travel plans, sleeping in, defective alarm clocks, etc. are not considered to be a valid excuse by the Dean! If you have a valid excuse (illness, excused athletic absence, etc.) for missing an exam, please contact your instructor ASAP (preferably before the exam) and a makeup exam will be scheduled.

Final Exam conflicts: Students with more than two final exams in one day, or more than three finals in a 24 hour period, may request to change the time of one of these finals. If you intend to request a different time or day for your Math 10250 final, you must make arrangements with your instructor before March 31. The schedule for all final exams is here.

Hour Exam conflicts: If you have a conflict with another exam scheduled by the Registrar there is a formula to resolve it. Please email your instructor at least one week before the exam to give us time to determine which exam you should take. The schedule for all departmental exams is here.

Honor Code: Notre Dame students are expected to abide by Academic Code of Honor Pledge: “As a member of the Notre Dame community, I will not participate in or tolerate academic dishonesty.” Examinations and homework are conducted under the Honor Code; in particular, exams are closed book and are to be done completely by yourself with no help from others. You are free to discuss homework problems with your classmates, tutors, and instructors, but you must submit your answers to WebAssign without any help.

Students with disabilities: Notre Dame provides various accommodations for students who qualify. More information can be found by following the link. Note that accommodations for exam or homework issues must be made BEFORE the exam is scheduled or the homework is due.
