Book/Access Code Information

We will cover material from the book;

Applied Calculus for the Managerial, Life, and Social Sciences: A Brief Approach, 9th Edition (Hybrid Edition with access to online homework).

You may purchase a hard copy of this book along with access to the e-book and online homework

or

you may purchase access to the online homework system and use the e-book that come with it for reference.

Warning: Keep in mind that used copies of the book will not have an access code, since access codes are not transferable. You need not buy a hard copy of the book but you must buy an access code for the homework. If you do purchase a book be sure that the price includes an access code or you will have to purchase one separately!

You may register any time after Tuesday, Jan. 17 and you have roughly two weeks (until Tuesday, Jan. 31) to purchase and enter an access code before your account (and whatever homework you have completed to date) is erased forever. Check that your access code works as soon as possible.

You may choose ONE of the purchase options listed below:

  1. Directly from Publisher: Hybrid book with access to online homework and e-book. The link is here. (Select the eBook Purchase Option for the cheapest option.) The ISBN10 for the book is 1-133-60771-3
  2. Notre Dame Bookstore: Single Term Access code for online homework and e-book (Enhanced Webassign Access).
  3. You may also purcahse an access code online through webassign after you register for online homework with any major credit card or PayPal. See Student Quick Start Guide for how to proceed. This includes an electronic copy of the book.

If you choose option 3 but also want a hard copy of the book you can easily purchase a second hand copy.
