Here in Indiana, 1 out of every 4 children is food insecure and in northern Indiana, almost 20% of the population is food insecure.

In 2015, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana distributed food equal to 60 lbs. of food in every seat in ND stadium.

Holy Cross Harvest 2012

University of Notre Dame

The Holy Cross Harvest was a joint food drive held on the campuses of the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Holy Cross College. By March 1, 2012, we collected $15,383.00 and 2100 pounds of food. Further donations increased that amount to $16,568.00 by June 30, 2012.

The 2012 drive was officially held from January 23, 2012 through February 14, 2012.

University of Notre Dame

The Holy Cross Harvest was a joint food drive held on the campuses of the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Holy Cross College. We collected $14,300.00 and 2200 pounds of food. this year the donations were split between the United Way coalition of local pantries People Gotta Eat ($4500) and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana ($9800).

The 2013 drive was officially held from January 28, 2013 through February 15, 2013.
