The Notre Dame Fall Combine will be an exciting opportunity for all the schools in the conference to test the abilities of their robots. This year’s fall combine will take place on November 12th in Stepan Center. The time of the event is still TBD, but we know the event will be around 2 hours with a lunch social beforehand. Spectators are encouraged! Teams that cannot attend in person will still be able to compete virtually.
The Notre Dame Robotic Football Club is back and having weekly meetings every Tuesday at 8pm in Basement B in Fitzpatrick Hall. For those of you who are unfamiliar, ND RFC makes robots that compete in 8 vs 8 football. The rules are slightly modified, but we do all of the main aspects of football from tackling to special teams to passing. There are four different groups in the club: Manufacturing, Pit Crew, Electrical and Code, so there is room for people of all different engineering skill sets. Not an engineer? That's okay, you can learn the ropes through the club or just show up to drive practice and help drive the robots using PS4 controls. Looking forward to another great year!
