Playoffs 2017

The 2016 Robotic Football Playoffs have concluded. The University of Notre Dame has won the championship, and the Brian Hederman Memorial Trophy! Here are the scores of the games:

  • Semifinal 1: Notre Dame beat Purdue-Kokomo 28-13
  • Semifinal 2: Valparaiso beat Ohio Northern 38-7
  • Consolation: Purdue-Kokomo beat Ohio Northern 39-16
  • Championship: Notre Dame beat Valparaiso 57-15

All four games were very exciting and all the teams played very well. Unlike the past, there was very little passing, which is why the scores were much lower. Notre Dame dominated the running game thanks to great running back - blocker chemistry. Irish defense also performed very well together, almost entirely eliminating the run game for other teams and keeping them to a very low score. The entire tournament can be watched here.

Blue-Gold Game 2017

The University of Notre Dame is renewing its annual Blue-Gold Game this year on April 21st in Stepan Center at Notre Dame. The Blue-Gold game is a scrimmage of Notre Dame against itself, similar to that of the school's human football team.
