Quarterback

Notre Dame vs. Ohio Northern

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish traveled to Ada, Ohio, to play the Ohio Northern Polar Bears for the 2014-2015 championship. Notre Dame beat Ohio Northern by a score of 26 to 16, leaving the all-time score between the two schools tied at 2.

Notre Dame built an entire team of 20 robots during this season, including an outstanding quarterback (shown). The new QB is equipped with automatic throwing, allowing it to consistently calculate distance and direction automatically, leaving the user to drive the robot and decide when to throw the ball. This was done via ultrasonic sensors on the QB wide receivers, and an intelligent vision system on the QB.
