Computer Science Literature Roundtable
Another Computer Science Literature Roundtable will be held at the SLA June Conference in Boston.: Wednesday, June 13th, at 1:00 to 2:15 pm, sponsored by the Science-Technology and the Physics-Astronomy-Mathematics divisions. This is an opportunity for you to discuss the literature of Computer Science: access, publication, and future trends. Speaking of future trends, to give you a chance at a second exposure to the JAVA internet programming language, Liz Bryson has arranged for the people from Interdimensions to not only make a presentation at her PAM Wide Roundtable on Sunday afternoon, but also to come to the CS Roundtable discussion on Wednesday afternoon. Are there other topics that you would like to discuss? As in past years, representatives from the publishers ACM, IEEE, and MIT are being invited to participate in our discussion rather than give formal presentations. Are there others we should invite? Please do send me your suggestions for topics and questions to cover, even if you are unable to attend this discussion. A summary of the roundtable discussion will be sent to the PAM Bulletin. Thanks,
Jim Leonard |
