Q: When I go to my MBA Career Development tab, why do I get the error below?

Q: When I go to inside.nd.edu, I get an error message saying, "Warning: The browser you are using is not supported." What browsers are supported?

You have attempted to visit the site with a browser that is not supported. insideND supports access with the following Web browsers:

Windows:
Internet Explorer 5.5 service pack 2, Internet Explorer 6.0 service pack 1, Netscape 7.1, Mozilla 1.6;
Mac OS X: Safari 1.1, Netscape 7.1, Mozilla 1.6;
Mac OS 9: Internet Explorer 5.1.7, Netscape 7.02.

You may still access insideND with other Web browsers, but these other browsers have not been tested and may not function properly.

Q: I am locked out of insideND. How can I get unlocked?

After 3 unsuccessful login attempts over a short period of time, you will be locked out of the portal. Your account must then be unlocked. Please contact the OIT helpdesk at oithelp@nd.edu or 631-8111 to unlock your account.

Q: Every time I try to login to insideND I get locked out. What am I doing wrong? There are several possibilities..
1.) You are using the wrong user name.
2.) If you have a common name, there may be a number after your last name. Contact the OIT helpdesk if you don?t know your user name.
3.) Wrong password: If you are not sure or don?t know your password, do not login, contact the OIT helpdesk to retrieve your correct password.

Q: Why am I getting a "User not enabled" error when I click on a link in one of my channels?
If you receive the error below when you click on a link in a channel, it is because you do not have access to this information. If you believe you should have access to this information, please contact the Office of the Controller at 631-6401.

Q: I frequently receive a "Session has timed out error!"

Please check the following:

- Are you using a supported browser? Unsupported browsers such as AOL, MSN, SBC or Comcast can cause early timeouts.
- Are you using a special tool bar, such as Yahoo? You may have to remove the toolbar to stop the early timeout issue.
