The Geometry Center at the University of Minnesota is holding a conference on electronic communication in Mathematics, May 29 to June 1, 1997. The Conference is organized around three main themes: Technology Issues, Editorial Issues, Economic Issues and Futurist Views. There is no registration fee; however, space is limited. Bert TePaske-King of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) has announced that the webpage list of New Journals in Mathematics has now been linked to a publicly available WWW-server. It can be reached directly at: http://www.ams.org/mathweb/mi-newjs.html and via the e-MATH Mathematics on the Web links: http://www.ams.org/mathweb/mi-journals.html. The titles are listed alphabetically by year, latest year first. Information includes:
1. Full title, publisher, frequency, ISSN, and vol. 1 subscription cost.
2. If the journal is electronic, there will be a link to its site, but access may be restricted by subscription.
3. There has been an effort to list all new journals of interest to Mathematics librarians, even in such areas as undergraduate mathematics, pedagogy, and mathematical software.
4. There is an email "pushbutton" for the purposes of feedback and for the addition of new titles. Mail will go to the AMS Mathweb mailbox and will be dealt with by Paula Shanks.
