Annual Blood Drive Nets 35 Pints

Pi Tau Sigma, the mechanical engineering honor society, hosted the annual spring blood drive on March 23. “The officers of Pi Tau Sigma organized the drive,” said faculty adviser Robert A. Howland, associate professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering, “and they did a phenomenal job.” Nurses from the South Bend Medical Foundation collected the blood — 35 pints in all — which was donated to the Central Blood Bank of South Bend.
