Salvati Receives NSF CAREER Award

Lynn A. Salvati, a geotechnical engineer, has been selected to receive the National Science Foundation’s Early Career Development (CAREER) Award. The award recognizes her for work in the cyclic behavior of cemented sands. It is the highest honor bestowed by the government on junior faculty.

Salvati is the Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and Geological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame. She joined the Notre Dame faculty in 2002.
